There's something about Christmas that makes it really lonely. Especially when you are alone.
The shoppers rush into the stores, joy and worry on their faces. The decorations, trees, lights. Pretty, but at the same time beauty better shared than enjoyed alone.
Never been a fan of Christmas, and promised myself long ago not to get into the spirit of Christmas, the be-nice-to-people-one-day-in-the-year craze. And again the radio plays soppy Christmas tunes, about lovers and lost love, about the cosiness of home and family life.
Totally oblivious to the feelings of those out there that have little or none of the stereotype of warmth, togetherness and spirit of sharing that Christmas is all about.
So tired of being alone...
Just want someone to be close to, to be affectionate with, to share, to care about, and to be around when I need support and the feel of the warmth of another human body.
